Tiago Justino is a talented co-founder and Head of Technology at CUBi Energia, with a passion for UX design, software engineering, and hobbyist making. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The State University of Ceará and a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction from The Rochester Institute of Technology. Tiago has a strong interest in HCI, Mobile and Embedded Systems, and Software Engineering. With almost 9 years of relevant experience, Tiago has worked with several companies, including Gertec and Hewlett Packard, where he served as a Software Engineer and UX Designer Intern, respectively. At Hewlett Packard, Tiago contributed to the development of Grommet, an open-source UX framework for enterprise applications. Currently, as the Co-Founder and Head of Technology at CUBi Energia, Tiago is responsible for offering low-cost opportunities for smart metering of electrical systems. He has developed his own hardware and cloud-based platform that connects the customers to their data anywhere in the world, 24/7. Tiago is a well-rounded professional with a diverse skill set that includes designer, software engineer, mobile, web, and UI development.
