Ting Chen is an experienced software engineer with a diverse set of skills and a proven track record of success. Currently working at Pinterest as a Software Engineer, Ting is responsible for creating efficient and accurate fresh video distribution systems within the first 24 hours of a pin being created. Additionally, Ting has contributed more than 70% of the team goal in each half as a full-stack engineer and has been involved in designing and rebuilding landing pages that have led to significant WAU wins and improved user experiences. Prior to joining Pinterest, Ting worked as a Software Engineer at Arundo Analytics, where he used NodeJS, Javascript, CSS, React, and DocumentDB to build web-based products that provided big data analytics for heavy industries. Ting and his team won the First Prize "Best in Show" at the Minds + Machines Hackathon event held by GE in Nov, 2016, where they built an app in less than 30 hours. Before Arundo Analytics, Ting worked as a Technical Consultant at Riversand, where he used C#, .Net framework, SQL, IIS, and other related skills to develop and maintain customized MDM systems for clients. Ting holds two Master of Science degrees, one in Industrial Engineering and the other in Computer Science, both from Texas A&M University. Ting has a strong technical background and is skilled in software engineering, backend development, big data, NodeJS, Javascript, web development, and SQL. With almost nine years of relevant experience, Ting is a valuable asset to any team.
