Tiya Jose is a passionate and enthusiastic backend engineer with expertise in Golang, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Currently working as a Software Engineer at IBM, Tiya has gained 3.78 years of relevant experience in the industry. Prior to IBM, she worked as a Backend Engineer at QBurst where she was involved in the development of an E-commerce Web Application project. She was responsible for the development of Backend REST APIs and services using Golang, improving the application responsiveness using Golang concurrency patterns, and optimizing performance using PostgreSQL query optimization. At ActioTech, a venture-funded start-up creating reporting apps for Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Tiya was responsible for the development of Backend REST APIs using Golang. She also worked on MongoDB schema design and optimization of MongoDB queries, reducing database costs by 20%. She produced tangible results from existing data using the MongoDB aggregation framework and participated in the feasibility analysis of new Jira custom add-ons. Tiya holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Model Engineering College, where she graduated in 2019.
