Tom Matuszczyk is a product and tech leader with over 15 years of experience. He has a proven track record of building successful B2C tech startups with millions of users and paying customers. Tom has also partnered closely with C-suite and board level executives on solving key product and business issues at Fortune 500 firms and privately backed hyper-growers across B2C tech, B2B SaaS, and Fintech. Tom is currently the Head of Growth at AWS Lambda, where he focuses on serverless compute. He is responsible for driving the growth of AWS Lambda, which is a serverless compute service that runs your code in response to events and automatically manages the compute resources for you. Prior to joining AWS, Tom worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he ran product, strategy, operating, and diligence engagements for US B2B SaaS/Tech/Software/Financial firms ($50M-$50B revenue). He sized the global market and assessed product growth opportunities for a ~$5B US B2B SaaS IPO, identified growth turnaround product strategy for struggling PE-owned B2B Software/SaaS player with ~$100M revenue, designed product strategy for Fintech merger leveraging target’s and buyer’s strengths/weaknesses creating outsized ROI, performed strategic outside-in due diligence of a multi-billion B2B SaaS target for a large US tech company, designed new product- and go-to-market strategy for a financial services firm serving US healthcare providers, redesigned corporate strategy for a leading US financial services firm focused on the real-estate sector, including M&A tactics for core business, growth strategy for adjacencies, investor relations, and tradeoffs for cash deployment opportunities, and developed product and pricing strategy revamp for $300M revenue B2B product line at tech client. Tom has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Master of Science in Software Development and Management from Chalmers Tekniska Högskola. His tech stack includes product management and AWS. With 14.54 years of relevant experience, Tom is a seasoned leader with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the tech industry.
