Torben Larsen is an experienced Product Owner and DevOps coach with a specialization in building and developing platforms and related DevOps capabilities for developers. With over 24 years of relevant experience, he has worked on primarily large IT application development projects within the public sector, airline industry, and banking. Currently, he is working as a Product Owner for the Platform and Infrastructure team at Bankdata, where he is responsible for the OpenShift platform. Torben's expertise lies in Kubernetes-based platforms, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps and Agile coaching, Kanban, and Scrum Master. He is also a project management consultant within the airline and airport industry, where he has managed integration to airlines' departure control systems and delivered self-service bag drop systems. He has managed distributed project teams with team members on location in Poland, Czech Republic, India, China, and Norway. Torben's past experience includes working as a DevOps Project Manager for TV 2 Danmark A/S through MIND4iT, where he implemented a continuous delivery deployment pipeline and managed daily DevOps tasks. He also worked as a DCS project manager for DSG Systems AS, where he delivered self-service bag drop systems for DSG Bagdrop AS in Toronto Pearson Terminal 3.
