Tre Ammatuna is a technically creative software developer with a passion for combining analytical thinking with keen creative skills to breathe life into elegantly coded applications and ideas. He specializes in full-stack Javascript and developer experience tooling and is known as a force multiplier for those around him. With over 14 years of relevant experience, Tre has worked with top companies like Amazon and Leafly. Currently, Tre is a Frontend Engineer at Amazon's Amplify team. In his previous role at Amazon, he worked as a Frontend Engineer for SageMaker Studio. At Leafly, he was the Lead Frontend Engineer and a member of the "Learn Team," which owned the heart of Leafly, a suite of cannabis information applications. During his tenure, he architected full-stack applications for a full company rebranding and cannabis information guide product release, led a cross-team effort to build a unified frontend platform, created developer tools to increase code quality, and automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. Tre is also passionate about helping those around him and sharing his knowledge. He does this through mentorship, tech talks, and workshops. At Leafly, he held bi-weekly training on JavaScript testing, helping to increase site-wide test coverage by up to 200%. He also gave tech talks 1-2 times per month on engineering topics such as CI/CD with GitHub Actions, developer tooling, web animations, and more. Tre has a Full Stack Software Engineering degree from Hack Reactor and a Bachelor of Science in Music Business and an Associate of Science in Recording Arts Technology/Technician from Full Sail University.
