Trevor Carlson is an Orange County-based Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the field. Currently working as a Site Reliability Engineer II at ZEFR, Trevor is passionate about achieving shorter cycle times and making the lives of developers easier. In his current role, Trevor has experience with Active Directory, JIRA and XenVM, JAMF, and Windows Server 2016 administration. He possesses extensive troubleshooting skills with Apple, Windows, and Linux based systems and is familiar with basic networking protocols like DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and Cisco switch configuration. He is also well-versed in Atlassian products like Service Desk, JIRA, and Confluence as well as Zendesk ticketing. Trevor has extensive AV experience, building out conference rooms, events AV, and executive support. He also has experience with GitHub administration and basic bash and python scripting knowledge. Prior to his current role, Trevor worked as a Site Reliability Engineer at ZEFR and as an Infrastructure Engineer at PepsiCo. In both roles, he gained experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Python, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Spinnaker. Trevor holds a Bachelor's degree in Percussion Performance from California State Polytechnic University, where he studied from 2008 to 2013. Trevor's technical expertise includes SRE, Python, DevOps, AWS, Terraform, infra, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
