Trey Hakanson is a Full Stack Software Engineer at Facebook, with a passion for technology and a drive to build innovative creations. He has always been a tinkerer, taking things apart to see how they work since he was a child, and this fascination with building has led him to explore various avenues in technology and computers. During his time at Ohio State, Trey developed programmable robots at hackathons, Cryptocurrency miners in his dorm room, and even helped to found a startup or two. He has experience developing web apps, iOS and Android apps, mobile and computer games, and embedded systems on whatever MCUs he could get his hands on. Trey's current role at Facebook involves working as a Full Stack Software Engineer, where he uses his expertise in AWS, Frontend, Backend, infra, iOS, Mobile, Web, Android, DevOps, GCP, ui, SQL, Python, Django, and ReactJS to build innovative solutions. Prior to working at Facebook, Trey worked as a Lead Software Development Engineer at Mobikit, where he was responsible for leading the development of the Mobikit data infrastructure for connected vehicles platform. In this role, he worked on backend development, DevOps, frontend development, code reviews, mentorship, and UI/UX. Trey has also worked as a Research Fellow at The Ohio State University, where he created a platform for real-time visualization/manipulation of large spatiotemporal datasets and developed a React/Redux frontend, interacting with PostgreSQL DB through Node API. Trey has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, and he has relevant experience of 4.20 years.
