Trinath Somanchi is an experienced Sr Product Owner and Container Engineering professional at F5 Networks with over 16 years of relevant experience. He is an active open source technologist with a passion for innovation and contribution to the community at a technological end. Trinath has a wide area of exposure to open source technologies, PKI and CA management, multi-node architectures and deployments, and networking protocols. Trinath is an individual contributor to several projects from design to deployment, including Openstack and OPNFV. He has demonstrated R&D work at conferences and has a design and development focus with customer needs in mind. Trinath is a team player and proactive innovator, contributing to open source communities such as Openstack (Neutron). He has expertise in virtualization, cloud computing, SDN, and NFVI, and is proficient with DevOps tools like Puppet, Ansible, and Chef. Trinath has a good understanding of NFV E2E and model-driven architectures. Trinath has attended the Openstack Summit Barcelona - 2016 and presented "VNF Managers - you must know." He has also given presentations on SDN Mechanism Driver, FWaaS Plugin for Network Services Configuration Stack at Technical Conferences. Trinath is the maintainer of Vendor CI for validating commits into Openstack Neutron and has made significant contributions to Openstack. Trinath's current position at F5 Networks involves leading efforts to design, develop, and deliver Container Ingress Services (CIS) for F5 BIG-IP. He works with customers, Agile teams, senior project and product managers, business development, and sales teams to graduate the product with respect to stability, performance, and feature development. Trinath has also designed and promoted Helm-based F5 BIG-IP CIS Operator for Redhat OpenShift and is responsible for release engineering for CIS and Operator releases. Trinath has a Master's degree in Software Systems from BITS and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from Madras University. He has also completed his Inter from Vignan Jr College and SSC from Sri Venkateswara Bala Kutter. Trinath's technical skills include Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, Puppet, Software Engineering, dotNET, test, and DevOps.
