Trisha Bhagawati is an MBA candidate at Texas McCombs School of Business and a Forté Fellow with a passion for cloud infrastructure, business strategy, and growth. With almost five years of experience in the tech industry, she has led projects to deploy SaaS for leading retailers worldwide and drafted provisioning and termination workflows of cloud environments. Trisha's specialization lies in cloud infrastructure, but she is currently exploring business strategy and growth. Trisha is currently working as a Pre-MBA Technical Product Management Immersion at Amazon, where she has dived deep into the fundamentals of product leadership through a series of workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and networking with senior leaders. She has developed a novel idea for Amazon's Last-Mile Delivery team to progress towards net-zero carbon through streamlined package returns, reuse, and recycling. Trisha wrote a product definition document (PR/FAQ) that was well-received by senior PMTs. Previously, Trisha worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Oracle, where she coordinated the team effort for adopting Cloud Native Services, a project that offers ~70% reduction in downtime to retail customers, involving a massive overhaul of code, processes, and maintenance activities. She also spearheaded the cloud provisioning and upgrade projects for major Oracle Retail applications on the cloud-native platform - Kubernetes - including configuration, resource allocation, security, and release management. Trisha led the migration of retail cloud environments from legacy cloud platforms to bare metal comprising database switchover, application migration, and user migration - applicable for over 100 retail customers. Trisha's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Manipal Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Texas McCombs School of Business, which she will complete in 2022. She also attended Delhi Public School Noida, where she achieved 94.6%. Trisha's technical skills include product management, software engineering, infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Ruby.
