He previously worked as a Full-stack Software Engineer at The Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute - YouDescribe, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining a Restful API for a user base of 10,000+ audio describers. He also fully migrated legacy data from SQL to MongoDB using PyMongo and MySQL connector Python libraries to take advantage of its dynamic schemas and horizontal scaling ability. Additionally, Trung designed an efficient algorithm to observe YouTube video player time and sync both regular inline audio clips and extended video-pausing required audio clips simultaneously. Trung also co-founded Korwave, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining software applications. He utilized Redux to synchronize state change and reduce re-renders, which led to a smoother user experience.
