Trupal Goti is a Mechatronics System Designer and EIT at Sheertex, with a passion for always exploring new facets of the world and learning new things. He is a graduate student at the University of Waterloo, where he is pursuing a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering. Before coming to Canada, Trupal gained valuable experience in the Oil and Gas industry as an Assistant Manager at Nayara Energy Limited, where he worked on Mega Turnaround projects and gained exposure to maintenance and reliability. He has also worked in the field of Automobile as a part of University Baja team and won 3 national awards. Trupal has strong technical software skills, including experience with CREO parametric, SOLIDWORKS, ANSYS Workbench, Inventor, AutoCAD, Hyperworks, Altair Inspire, Adams, Carsim, SolidCam, SAP, Meridium, Matlab, Mathcad, C++, Python, Aurdino, and Minitab. Trupal's past experience includes working as a Mechatronics Engineer at Sheertex and a Maintenance Reliability Engineer at Nayara Energy, where he led maintenance activities and project change notes, analyzed performance data, provided technical assistance, and prepared documents related to safety compliance, audits, and task-based risk assessment. Trupal holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nirma University in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and is set to complete his Master of Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo in 2020.
