Tuhin Barua is a seasoned web technologist and engineering leader with over 14 years of experience in developing web applications, mobile apps, scalable architectures, distributed systems, microservices, payments, and web security. He has a passion for leadership, management skills, engineering operations, budgeting and recruitment, team building & mentoring. Tuhin has extensive knowledge in social network, gaming, payments, travel, eCommerce domains, and has worked with startups, idea incubation, and new product development. He is a self-taught engineer, good at reverse engineering, and a kick starter. Tuhin's specialties include internet consumer applications, web security, eCommerce, social networks, travel, payments/gateway, databases/data stores, web scaling, performance tuning, AWS, and Google Firebase. Currently working as a software engineer at Clarion Technologies, Tuhin has single-handedly worked on various projects and maintained a single point of contact with clients. In the past, Tuhin has worked as a software engineer at Naspers Limited (MIH India), where he was the lead and architect of the product OneFamily.ibibo.com, a genealogy-based social network. He also worked as a tech lead at Goibibo, where he led the development team of OneFamily.ibibo.com and worked on Google OpenSocial platform (Shindig). Tuhin has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. He also completed a Corporate Strategy program from Harvard Business School Executive Education.
