Tuhin Roy is a Full Stack Engineer with over 3 years of experience in the JavaScript ecosystem. He has worked with diverse companies in sectors such as Healthcare, Cryptocurrency/Blockchain, AI/Video Analytics and Employee Tracking SaaS. Tuhin is currently working with Unolo as a Full Stack Developer and is actively involved in hiring engineering talents for full stack positions. He is passionate about exploring startups and the tech behind them in sectors such as Healthcare, E-commerce, Fin-tech, and SaaS that are solving critical problems. Tuhin's interests include building scalable and available web-apps, building solid awareness around health and wealth, reading technical blogs and newsletters, twitter threads and non-fiction books, brisk walking and travelling to the mountains. At Unolo, Tuhin has architected from scratch Admin-Entitlements with roles, permissions, and exec visibility for admins to decide who gets to see and do what. He has also co-developed a React custom hook to help quickly build powerful data-grids for new components. Tuhin has built and deployed a Lambda that creates a directory structure of photos by employee by date from remote URLs and emails the zip of that structure to admins. He has revamped pages on the product dashboard using state-of-the-art React and GraphQL. Tuhin has developed schemas, queries, mutations, and subscriptions for various data entities as per required access paths for exposing data to the clients. He has also collaborated and implemented a bi-directional sync algorithm in the server-side to provide offline access to the product app and sync capability with the server for un-synced data. Tuhin's past experience includes working with companies such as Sparrosense and 7kreinto. At Sparrosense, he worked primarily on the frontend of the dashboard, implemented unit testing and e2e testing for the dashboard, and worked on few edge cases in the user authentication APIs in the backend. At 7kreinto, Tuhin built trading bots by implementing trading algorithms and tested on digital assets, built monitoring alert systems for assets’ price and transactions using Web Sockets, developed the front-end with Server Side Rendering for a better SEO experience, and utilised the Google Sheets API to develop a Reporting Tool that displays Digital Assets’ holdings, profit/loss made, open orders, and others on a daily basis for a Digital Asset Platform.
