Tullie Murrell is the CEO and Co-Founder of Shaped, an AI company that aims to make AI approachable for everyone. With a focus on APIs for ranking, Shaped helps businesses create personalized user experiences. Tullie is also the creator of PyTorchVideo, a deep learning library for video understanding research and production. Before founding Shaped, Tullie worked at Facebook AI Research as an Applied Research Scientist. She was the lead for PyTorchVideo, providing the models and datasets that power several video understanding products at Facebook, including newsfeed ranking and Instagram reels. Tullie was also the technical lead for the fastMRI research team, where she co-authored eight papers on MRI reconstruction and generative AI methods. Tullie is an original core contributor to PyTorch Lightning, the leading deep learning training framework. Tullie holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Adelaide. She is a Y Combinator alum, having completed the program in W22.
