Tung Duong is a Maximo Technical Specialist with over 12 years of experience in the field. Currently working at Sino-iTech, Tung advises and assists Project Managers on the technical capabilities of Maximo. He also installs and configures various IBM solutions such as Maximo 7.6, Anywhere, LDAP, and SSO. Tung troubleshoots and provides solutions to any system issues encountered by end-users and develops automation scripts to handle logic and validation that standard Maximo does not provide. Tung has a strong background in developing Birt reports ranging from simple lists to complex crosstabs/charts. He has also created small programs to extract routine data directly from the database based on client's requirements. Tung is experienced in setting up new environments, handling system upgrade installation, and migration between servers. In his past roles, Tung worked as a Maximo Technical Consultant at comm-it consultancy services, where he consulted clients and colleagues on the technical capabilities of Maximo. He prepared BRDs for project proposals and UAT documents for end-users. Tung also developed MBO customizations and automation scripts to handle logic validation that standard Maximo does not provide. He maintained the integration between Maximo and other finance systems, upgraded one integration from flat file output to direct DB transfer, and developed new Birt reports and modified existing ones. Tung has also worked as a Maximo Specialist at Sino-iTech, where he designed, implemented, and maintained a completely customized financial application based on Maximo MBOs to calculate month-end and year-end financial income/expense. He designed, implemented, and maintained a Location Viewer add-on that allows Maximo to show the actual location of assets on an AutoCAD map. Tung also maintained an integration system between Maximo and a PDA (Maximo on Mobile) platform. Tung holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from RMIT. He has a strong technical background in test, integration, Java, and mobile technologies.
