Tung Ha is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with over 12 years of experience in web development using PHP, 10 years in eCommerce on Magento, 7 years working with AWS, 3 years working with Kubernetes/Docker/Helm using AWS EKS, and 2 years in Microservice on NodeJS with ExpressJS and NestJS. Currently working at Love, Bonito as a Senior Software Engineer, Tung has played a pivotal role in migrating the company's E-commerce website from Magento Commerce Cloud to Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service, allowing the company to have full control over infrastructure. Tung has also migrated the E-commerce website from Magento frontend technology to headless Single Page Application using Vue StoreFront, which has drastically improved the performance of the customer-facing E-commerce website, improved customer experience and conversion rate, and boosted sales. Tung has monitored and tweaked the system to sustain seasonal peak sale periods such as Hari Raya, Single Day, Black Friday, etc. with approximately 5000 concurrent visitors on the website, helping the business to accumulate millions in revenue. Tung has developed API integration with Adyen Payment Gateway for headless SPA, which has helped to improve customer checkout experience and improve conversion rate. Tung has also developed and deployed country/region-specific E-commerce websites for Hong Kong and Japan with a new payment gateway, shipping method, currency conversion, and localization/translation. In the past, Tung has worked as a Senior Magento Developer at Courts Asia, where he built a new E-commerce website from scratch on Magento 2 to meet all the business requirements, deployed on Amazon Web Services to maintain complete control over cloud infrastructure, and integrated with ERP system to make sure data is synchronized smoothly every day.
