Tuomas Ylä-Kauttu is a Business Development Manager at Huawei Consumer Business Group and a Global Shaper at World Economic Forum. With over 8 years of relevant experience, he has worked on 20+ Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) and AppGallery Ecosystem partnerships. His main responsibilities include building business cases, negotiating with ecosystem partners, planning and executing technical integration processes to HMS, and building and executing marketing promotion campaigns for partners including AppGallery advertising, marketing, PR, and media releases. He is also actively involved in project management and execution, problem-solving, and proactive internal and external communication to grow business. In his past roles, Tuomas has founded Global Shapers Finland non-profit association as founding chairman and established Global Shapers Helsinki serving as hub curator from 2016-2017. He has recruited and onboarded 50+ new Shapers, built hub strategy, vision, and mission, developed hub rules and code of conduct, and fundraised services and funds worth €50K for Nordic Summit production with partners including Microsoft, EY, Fazer food company, Klok video agency, Tapaus events, and Hanaholmen culture center. He has also built partnerships with PwC for AI after work and Global Dignity, EY, OP Financial Group for Davos Studio. He is currently developing partnerships and recruiting stakeholders for a mental health project. Tuomas is a Climate Reality Leader at The Climate Reality Project, a global network of over 21,000 selected leaders from 150+ countries personally trained by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, committed to taking on the climate crisis. He raises awareness on Climate Change through trainings, presentations, and publications. He was trained directly by CEO Ken Berlin and former US Vice President Al Gore during the 44th Climate Reality Leadership Corps Training. Tuomas holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Vaasa, where he studied marketing, strategy, design, and data science. He also has a minor in Design Thinking & Management from Aalto University. He has attended Stanford University for Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Sungkyunkwan University for Data Science & Big Data Analytics.
