Turan Naimey is an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for solving complex problems. Currently working as a Software Engineer II at Tanium, Turan is responsible for building and maintaining Tanium's backend services alongside an agile development team. In partnership with frontend and endpoint teams, he designs, develops, and tests new product ideas from the ground up while working with product management for feedback and input. Turan also works on small teams that tackle big challenges in common components like a common data service tasked with unifying and consolidating endpoint data across the entire ecosystem, handling time series data that drive dashboarding and reporting, and exposing data externally through GraphQL enabling partners (like Salesforce) to easily integrate. He delivers higher-level services enabled by core services that directly enable Tanium's products. Prior to Tanium, Turan worked as a Software Engineer at Deloitte, where he worked with clients from government and commercial sectors to design, develop, and test technology-based solutions. He contributed in all phases of the development lifecycle, wrote well-designed, testable, efficient code, collaborated with teams, and implemented the most relevant development tools/techniques to solve client issues and exceed client requirements. Turan also worked as an Undergraduate Research Software Engineer at Northern Arizona University, where he developed, tested, and documented software as a member of a multidisciplinary team at the Caporaso Lab focusing primarily on Python. Turan holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Applied Computer Science from Northern Arizona University. He has experience in various technologies, including Python, Go, Node, Salesforce, AWS, SQL, MongoDB, Docker, Javascript, Pandas, Flask, Web, CI/CD, Azure, and UI. With 3.86 years of relevant experience, Turan is a highly skilled Software Engineer who is passionate about solving complex problems and delivering innovative solutions.
