Tushar Maroo is a highly skilled technology enthusiast with over 12 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently leading engineering at WarehouseNow, where he is responsible for everything related to engineering and product in the company. Tushar is a firm believer in making great products that are simple, performant, and scalable. He possesses a business mindset and domain knowledge, which allows him to explore new technologies and meet people, two of his favorite hobbies. Tushar's technical expertise ranges from Ruby on Rails, Django, Flask, Spring Boot, MySQL, Postgresql, MongoDB, Redis, AngularJS, ReactJS, Flux, jQuery, HighCharts, AWS, Bash scripting, RabbitMQ, Microservices, DevOps, Agile Methodologies, Domain-Driven Design, and much more. He is particularly interested in AI-driven applications, machine learning, and other emerging technologies. Apart from his current role at WarehouseNow, Tushar has held several leadership positions in the past. He was the Associate Director of Engineering at CasaOne, where he led IO and CSM teams. He was also the Principal Software Engineer of Platform Engineering at Deserve, a new-age credit card platform. At Deserve, Tushar worked on finance-related systems using domain-driven design and event-driven architecture, focusing on scale, robustness, and data quality of the platform. Tushar is a graduate of JECRC University, where he earned his Bachelor of Technology degree. He is also an active member of the Bangalore Ruby Users Group and helps organize meetups for the group. Tushar is a senior software engineer with expertise in Ruby, AWS, AI, Redis, RabbitMQ, ML, MySQL, MongoDB, Spring Boot, Spring, microservices, DevOps, Flask, and software engineering.
