Tushar Mehra is a talented Software Engineer with a passion for Machine Learning and NLP. Currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Searce Inc, Tushar has gained valuable experience in the field of ML and has honed his skills in Python, Deep Learning, and Web Development. Tushar's academic background is impressive, having completed his Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science and Chemical Technology from Delhi Technological University (DTU) in 2022. Prior to this, he completed his High School from DL DAV Model School in 2018 and his Middle School from Hansraj Public School in 2014. During his time at DTU, Tushar was selected as an NTU-India Connect Scholar and completed a research internship at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. Here, he developed an entire pipeline and created clustering algorithms and visualization methods to discover repetitive earthquakes in the region of Hawaii using 5-year seismic time-series data of earthquakes fetched from IRIS, USGS. His work resulted in accurate and large clusters with CCF > 95%. Tushar has also completed a research project internship at Université de Bordeaux, where he redesigned the User Interface of a GUI software tool developed on Tkinter Library. He created data fetching functionality in the GUI tool using Python and web-data scraping libraries such as BeautifulSoup, Urllib, Requests, etc. and verified drug-target pairs by retrieving data from pharmaceutical research-journal websites and databases using NLP techniques. With 1.51 years of relevant experience, Tushar is a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong work ethic. His tech stack includes ML, Software Engineering, Research Science, NLP, Python, Web Development, and Deep Learning. He is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow and develop his skills further.
