Tushar Nahar is an accomplished Operations Research professional with expertise in Machine Learning and Econometrics. As a Research Associate at Texas A&M University, he has worked on several research projects focused on the applications of operations research, data sciences, and decision analysis on technology management. Tushar's work also includes researching the impact of technology on team dynamics and the applications of bounded rationality on product search. Tushar has a strong academic background, having earned a Bachelor of Technology in Production Engineering from NIT Tiruchirappalli, followed by a Master of Science in Operations Research and currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration, Management and Operations (Discontinued) from Texas A&M University. Tushar has over 4 years of relevant experience, including his time as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University and as an Analyst Programmer/Integration Specialist at Ramco Systems. At Ramco Systems, Tushar managed the technical operations of iRIS, a SOA-based integration solution used to connect Ramco ERP/MRO applications with external partner systems. He was responsible for the delivery of the solution, performed business and technical analysis, modified the system architecture of the integration solution to accommodate the business requirements of the client, managed the integration operation for clients, and trained new hires. He is currently co-authoring a research paper based on the research on team dynamics that is to be submitted to a journal with an impact factor of 1.6.
