Tushar is a Software Architect at PhonePe, where he leads projects dealing with user systems and other organizational infrastructural components. He is responsible for building scalable systems that personalize user experience and allow customers to socialize with each other, such as chat and P2P transactions. Tushar previously worked on the Search team at Flipkart, where he worked on semantic projects like query intent analysis and ranking algorithms. He has also helped build systems that serve search at scale. Tushar is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he earned his Master of Science in Computer Science. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from RNS Institute of Technology. Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Education from St. Paul's English School, Bangalore. Tushar has 6.79 years of relevant experience in software engineering, search, P2P, and machine learning. He is proficient in Python and has experience in data analytics and machine learning using tools such as optimization and minimization algorithms, clustering algorithms, discriminant analysis, and factor analysis. In his free time, Tushar enjoys playing and watching football, painting, and trekking in the Himalayan ranges.
