Tushar Sadhu is an experienced VC at W Health Ventures, with a passion for investing in early-stage healthcare start-ups that leverage technology to address critical unmet healthcare needs. He is a highly motivated individual who enjoys connecting with passionate founders, fellow investors, and anyone interested in discussing healthcare ideas. Before joining W Health Ventures, Tushar worked on growth and strategy projects across product, partnerships, marketing, and fundraising as a part of the CEO's office at a digital therapeutics startup. He considers himself a practical MBA with a salary, and his experience has given him a unique perspective on the healthcare industry. Tushar graduated from the Indian School of Business (ISB) in 2020, with Public Policy, Strategy, and Marketing as his specializations. He enjoyed his experience at ISB, where he participated in events and case competitions, winning the prestigious J&J Quest 2019 Nationals with his team. Prior to ISB, Tushar worked at ZS for ~3 years on multiple consulting projects for various healthcare clients. He was actively involved in internal assignments like ZSCares pro bono work, innovation summits, and upskilling teams on data analytics and visualization. Tushar's interest areas lie at the confluence of design, impact, analytics, and storytelling. He is passionate about solving healthcare problems and is always looking to learn from everyone working on innovative healthcare solutions. At W Health Ventures, Tushar is looking to back highly-scalable and impactful ideas leveraging technology and AI to transform healthcare delivery in India and the US. Tushar's past experience includes working as Chief of Staff at Wellthy Therapeutics, where he managed strategic projects for the CEO's office, evaluated inorganic growth opportunities, and led successful award wins and accelerator engagements. He also worked as an Associate Consultant at ZS Associates, where he led analysis design, client and team management for a cross-national team focused on patient data analytics and pharma-payor negotiations for a blockbuster drug. Tushar holds a Post Graduate Programme in Management from ISB, an Engineer’s Degree from FR Conceicao Rodrigues Institute, and a High School degree from Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School. He also attended D.A.V. Public School, Thane. His tech stack includes AI, Research Scientist, Senior Software Engineer, ML, and infra. Tushar has 5.69 years of relevant experience.
