Tushar Shani is a highly motivated and accomplished finance professional with a strong academic background and a passion for investment analysis and financial markets. He is a graduate of the HEC Paris MiM program with a specialization in international finance and is currently working as a graduate analyst in the markets division at Barclays investment bank. Tushar has a proven track record of excellence in both academic pursuits and extra-curricular activities. He was awarded the Eiffel excellence scholarship by the French Government and has regularly participated in valuation, corporate finance, and investment competitions. His team was selected to present findings on “Tapestry Inc” in Vancouver, Canada in 2016, and he and his team were selected for the final round of the Capital Group Stock Pitch Competition held in London. Recently, he was in the top 10 teams participating in a three-month-long Natixis Investment Management challenge. Tushar has a good level of French (niveau intermédiaire B2) and has lived in Paris for over 2 years since 2018. He is looking for opportunities in investment analysis and financial markets domain. Tushar's experience includes working as a markets summer analyst at Barclays and as a financial data scientist at Alphien SAS. At both companies, he established a data access system in R & python environment via APIs and functions to improve service offering for 100+ clients and collaborated with fund analysts & data scientists to host three investment strategy hackathons, with awards up to EUR 18000. He has also published Jupyter notebooks to illustrate asset allocation strategies based on machine learning models, inspiring over 100 competitors. Tushar has a strong technical background, including expertise in ML, Jupyter, Random Forest, Python, Data Scientist, and Research Scientist. He holds a Master in Management - Grande Ecole (Finance major) from HEC Paris and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Tushar has relevant experience of 1.18 years and is a hard-working and determined person who is eager to contribute to the investment analysis and financial markets domain.
