Twesha Patel is a self-directed and driven Electrical Engineer professional with over 7 years of experience in design, program operations, and manufacturing support to exceed project goals. She is recognized for maximizing performance by eliminating inefficiencies in a design, process flow, and finding ways to streamline them. Currently, she is serving as a Senior Controls Design Engineer at Solar Turbines, where she is responsible for processing enterprise change requests to fix and enhance standard composite solutions on RS-Logix, HMI for all Solar products while maintaining robust and reliable design. Twesha is proficient in various tools such as Windchill, Promis-e, Creo View, RSLogix 5000 Logix Designer, Kanban, Dreamweaver, SVG Edit, and AutoCAD. She is also skilled in programming languages like C and MATLAB. Her expertise includes Agile, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Office Suite, PLC Controls Design (Allen Bradley), HMI Design, Industrial Network handling (Ethernet, Modbus, ControlNet, VFD), and Dynamix 1444 system vibration configuration. Apart from her professional experience, Twesha has also served as Vice Chairman of Graduate Chapter at IEEE, where she presided over branch meetings and was responsible for planning, advertisement, and organizing events for graduate students and coordinating with the officers and EXECOM. Twesha has previously worked as an Electrical Engineer and Electrical Design Engineer at Solar Turbines, where she led the Electrical Team for SMT60- Solar Mobile Turbomachinery program to reduce setup time for power generation equipment from 3 days to less than 6 hours, eliminating customer downtime loss of $950,400 & providing a smaller footprint. She has also collaborated with Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Packaging Build, Customer Services to expedite project deliverables (concept to shipment) from 2 years to 9 months. Twesha holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Pune.
