Twishi Saran is a dedicated and passionate computer science graduate student with a strong background in software engineering, data science, analytics, and visualization. She is actively seeking summer'23 internship roles to further her career and gain valuable experience in the field. Twishi is committed to rapidly adapting and efficiently analyzing growing data points to provide implementable solutions and an unprecedented competitive edge to data-driven businesses as a software engineer. She is driven by her curiosity to learn, network, and contribute towards building a stronger tech community for students while always striving towards strategic thinking and innovation. Currently, Twishi works as a Student Assistant at the University Library located at California State University, Northridge. She performs duties of a Computer Technician at the Library Technology Services Department, which involves troubleshooting the devices of library patrons, troubleshooting network and software issues, imaging and setting up of BIOS of new devices, and wiping and surveying out of the old devices. Twishi has previously worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Indus Valley Partners, Mumbai, where she worked as a full-stack developer on a bespoke IVP project - BSP. She optimized former workflows by identifying data points that impeded execution time, upgraded the functionalities of the Order Management System by creating new automated jobs/processes using SQL, C#, and .NET framework. She also shouldered the daily requirements on the Data Analytics Thread of the project and developed new dashboards using Power BI to modernize the archaic excel-based financial reporting. Additionally, she integrated these dashboards with a built-in commenting app feature to facilitate quick communications and reporting on the user interface. Apart from her technical role, Twishi managed co-worker training for new hires over a period of six months, offering continuous guidance on the project topics and mentorship on employee practices while providing constructive feedback. She has also worked as a student community representative at Dev Cluster - Goa's largest Tech community, where she managed and organized tech-talks, workshops, and learning sessions. Twishi holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Goa University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge. She also holds a Higher Secondary degree in Science from Mushtifund Aryaans HSSC and a High School/Secondary Certificate Programs degree from Sharada Mandir School.
