Tyler McEntee is an experienced software developer with a strong interest in machine learning and data science. He is currently the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Mantis Digital Arts, an independent game development studio in the Midwest. Prior to this, Tyler worked as a Software Developer at Proto Labs, where he developed 3D modeling software for rapid prototype plastic and metal parts. He also managed the testing and release cycle for internal 3D part analysis software and designed and implemented an automated system for advanced crash reporting analytics. Tyler's experience also includes working as a Software Engineer, Analytics at Ascend HIT, where he developed cardiology analytics reporting tools and worked on greenfield development for a deep learning image classification product. Tyler's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from South Dakota State University. He has a diverse tech stack that includes skills in AWS, .NET, Python, ML, data science, backend development, deep learning, Docker, ASP.NET, and Tensorflow. In addition to his professional pursuits, Tyler is a hobbyist musician specializing in percussion and guitar.
