Udaya Kumar is an AI Lead at Ficha, with a focus on waste management. He is a highly skilled and experienced programmer, with expertise in deep learning, computer vision, and robotics. Udaya is passionate about building a world where technology can help evolve human life, and he is pursuing a career in the field of AI Robotics. Currently, Udaya is the AI Planning layer subdivision head at Project Manas, where he coordinates the planning subdivision. This role requires technical capabilities in artificial intelligence, path planning of autonomous vehicles, and simulation to test navigation algorithms. In his previous role at Project Manas, Udaya was a developer in the artificial intelligence division, where he wrote code for Robotic Operating System (ROS), LIDAR-based obstacle detection and tracking, Point Cloud Library (PCL), and Gazebo Simulation. He also served as the artificial intelligence head, where he coordinated the division and utilized his knowledge and skills in image processing, deep learning, robotic path planning, and sensor interfacing. Udaya's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Manipal Institute of Technology, completed in 2019. He has 4.20 years of relevant experience in the field and is proficient in AI, software engineering, computer vision, deep learning, Keras, Jenkins, Python, ML, TensorFlow, integration, OpenCV, and Docker. Udaya is dedicated to using his technical skills to make a positive impact on society.
