Uddalak Banerjee is a seasoned HR professional with over 7 years of experience in the field. Currently employed as the Regional Manager East (HR) at Dabur India Limited, he has also worked with Pidilite Industries and Birla Tyre India in the past. At Pidilite Industries, Uddalak was responsible for recruitment, both external and internal, and achieved a quality of hire score of 88% for new joiners. He also planned and executed training programs for 600 sales and marketing employees, resulting in an average scorecard improvement of 20 points in the bottom 40% and 10 points overall. Additionally, he resolved HR policy and grievances within 48 hours of raising or escalating them, and conducted regular employee meets to understand and evaluate pain areas. At Birla Tyre India, Uddalak coordinated vendors and job postings for 60 annual manager/executive vacancies, and optimized the organization structure and modified job profiles through job evaluation of 92 unique roles.
