Udit Kumar is a Senior Software Engineer at Arcesium (D.E. Shaw & Co.) with a unique blend of full-stack development, machine learning, and database expertise. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering and has 2.94 years of relevant experience in the industry. In his professional experience, Udit has worked on end-to-end development of software that involved Systems Engineering, Data Analysis, Systems Designing, Database, Backend Development, Analytical thinking, and Full Stack Development for solving business problems. Currently, as part of the PerformA team at Arcesium, he is working on building accounting and investment management software for major global banks & financial institutions. Prior to this, he was a member of the Digital team at Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), where he worked with HDFC Bank on developing software for their banking products. During his graduation, as a Software Engineering Intern at HCL Infosystems Ltd, Udit worked on a Deep Learning based model for fake image detection and redacted personally identifiable and sensitive information from image data. Prior to that, he worked as a Software Development Intern at NCERT creating and designing web applications and games for the interactive learning team. Udit's key competencies include Data Structures and Algorithms, Experimental Design, and Machine Learning techniques such as Regression Modeling, Random Forest, XGBoost, kNN Classifier, K-means Clustering, Feature Extraction, Natural Language Processing, and Convolutional Neural Network.
