Ujjwal Chakraborty is an experienced software engineer with over 13 years of hands-on development and design experience working with various technologies such as Oracle SOA Suite, Weblogic, Oracle Cloud Infra, Containerization Technologies, Distributed Microservices, Redhat OpenShift PaaS, JBoss EAP, Core Java, Golang, Spring Boot, IBM Hybrid Cloud, and Salesforce CRM integration. He is currently working as an Advisory Software Engineer in the IBM Hybrid Cloud & Cognitive platform with Redhat Openshift & open-source technologies. In his current role, he is responsible for the development of common managed services for the IBM Cloud Platform with Golang, Java, Core Kubernetes Components, Docker, Openshift, Operator, Operator Lifecycle Manager, etc. In the past, Ujjwal has worked as a tech lead for the Cloud Migration project with Redhat Openshift PaaS, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, including Core Java, Spring Boot, Jenkins API, GIT, Bit-bucket, Salesforce CRM, etc. at Amadeus R&D Lab. He has also worked as a Lead Consultant at British Telecom, where he led and drove various complex technical projects, including Micro-service Evaluations/Setup/Development/Design from scratch for one of the largest Telecom Industry, Service Migration from Java Spring to Oracle SOA, Oracle Cloud Infra (OCI) Migration, On-premise to Cloud movement, etc. At Tata Consultancy Services, Ujjwal was an IT Analyst and technically led the team to develop services with Oracle ESB, BPEL, SOA Components, along with Core Java & Spring boot. Ujjwal has extensive experience in designing overall PaaS/SaaS constructs, including health monitoring, functional monitoring & alerting, fault tolerance, High Availability, Horizontal and vertical auto-scaling, Self-Healing, Auto Discovery, etc. He has also defined functional specifications and implemented various POCs from low-level design. He has in-depth knowledge in SOA/WLS/Java/Container performance tuning and has managed teams with Onsite-Offshore models. Ujjwal holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from biet and completed his schooling from rampurhat high school.
