Ujjwal Gaba is a detail-oriented software engineer with a passion for quality. He is currently working as a Software Developer - Backend Engineer at Airtel, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining the backend of various web applications. Ujjwal has over 2 years of relevant experience in the industry and has previously worked at ThoughtWorks as a Full Stack Developer. During his time at ThoughtWorks, Ujjwal worked with the team Ayojak and was responsible for developing the backend and frontend of the Ayojak project. He developed new APIs, features, and optimized the codebase using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Postgresql, and ReactJS. Ujjwal also implemented unit testing using Mockito and Junit and followed TDD. He improved the code quality by 30% through code reviews and implemented the Continuous Integration|Continuous Development pipeline using CircleCI and Google Cloud. Prior to ThoughtWorks, Ujjwal worked as an Android Intern at Kyrion Technologies. Here, he worked on a project called Garbage Monitoring Application using Android Studio, where he created both the frontend and backend using XML and Java, along with extensive use of Google map platform and Firebase. Ujjwal has a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication from Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering.
