Ulka Vaze is a highly experienced Senior Engineering Manager at VMware with over 18 years of relevant experience in the field of storage domain, virtualization, distributed systems, and cloud technologies. With a strong background in SCSI, iSCSI, Linux device drivers, and kernel programming, Ulka has proven expertise in developing and managing complex systems and delivering high-quality solutions. Ulka's technical skills include SAN, NAS, SCSI, iSCSI, Linux device driver and kernel programming, NFS, Kubernetes, cloud, and SaaS. She has extensive experience in designing and developing HSM solutions for Lustre filesystem and conducting trainings in Linux device driver programming, Linux kernel programming, shell scripting, and embedded Linux. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at VMware, Ulka is responsible for managing and leading a team of software engineers in developing innovative solutions for virtualization, distributed systems, and cloud technologies. Prior to this, she worked as a Principle System Software Engineer at Clogeny, where she led the design and development of HSM solutions for Lustre filesystem. She also co-owned L2IT, where she conducted trainings in Linux device driver programming, Linux kernel programming, shell scripting, and embedded Linux. Ulka holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Walchand Institute of Technology, where she graduated in 1995. Her technical proficiency and extensive experience in the industry make her a valuable asset to any organization.
