Uma Subramanian is a visionary and servant leader with a passion for empowering women through experiential learning and development. With over 20 years of experience as a woman in tech, Uma has successfully led high-performing teams at Microsoft and in a fast-scaling startup. She is currently the Founder and CEO of The Limitless Leaders, an experiential learning and development company designed for emerging women leaders. Uma is pioneering an innovative global program that fosters the development of a new generation of purposeful, dynamic, and unstoppable women leaders in the field by breaking down barriers and providing a clear path to leadership. Throughout her career, Uma has been recognized and commended for her ability to lead teams with love and compassion, crafting big experience visions, and driving impactful results. She is committed to bringing together women who share similar values and providing those women with access to exceptional, hands-on opportunities as they hone their leadership skills. Uma is currently on a virtual listening tour and invites emerging women leaders to schedule a coffee chat with her. Uma's past experience includes launching and managing the Developer Success Team and the Turing Community, a global career-centric community for developers worldwide, across APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and the Americas. She has mentored women in tech within the global community, 1:1 and in groups. She quickly rose to Senior Director in just 5 months and grew the community to 37K in 5 months of launch, adding 1,000+ new members weekly, with 4,000 active users weekly. She contributed to raising Developer NPS to a world-class score of 87, and again to 92. She hired, trained, and led a team of 49 full-time team members to support the Turing Community and Developer Success. Uma has designed community programs to attract new and support existing global developers registered on the platform and has been featured in various PR news articles and blogs and invited to speak at events and conferences. Uma holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry Honors from Miranda House College and is a graduate of NIIT in Software Technology and Systems Management. She is currently a Community Advisor & Strategy Consultant at Supergigs, where she advises the mission-driven and customer-centric founding team on developing cutting-edge community strategies, enabling them to build out a world-class developer community using modern community platforms and tools.
