Umanathan Perichiappan is a Senior QA Engineer at Samsung Electronics America with over 9 years of relevant experience. Umanathan has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, where he graduated in 2013. Currently, Umanathan works as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Samsung, where he is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products. He has a diverse skill set that includes QA, testing, web and mobile development, software engineering, Selenium, and integration. Prior to Samsung, Umanathan worked as a Software Engineer at Novell, where he was responsible for analyzing specifications and developing test cases. He prepared and executed test cases as per system requirements, performed integration testing of Filr with SharePoint 2013, and automated Filr Web client using Selenium Web Driver. He also performed installation, upgrade, and configuration of different Filr clients and servers on different virtualization backgrounds. Umanathan extensively performed manual testing processes to ensure the quality of software and conducted component testing, regression testing, sanity testing, and integration testing of Filr clients. He also reported and tracked defects using Bugzilla. Umanathan's education and experience make him a valuable asset to any organization.
