Prior to GreyOrange, Umasankar worked as a Senior Engineering Manager and Program Manager at General Electric. He led multiple product teams as Engineering Manager, designed platforms, interventional & maternal infant care products, and rendered services as Program Manager. Currently, he is spearheading Hardware Centre of Excellence for GE Healthcare India in establishing Hardware platforms, designing Libraries & Hardware test labs. He has distinguished efforts in heading Global Program Team of 25+ engineers across Globe & establishing state of the art 5-axes patient positioning tilt table for the vascular imaging system, resulting in shipping of 100+ systems out of India supply chain annually. He has also built and established Hardware Team to manage post-market product support & successfully maintained global metrics for customer satisfaction and post-market actions.
