Umesh Pawar is a seasoned Senior Backend Developer with over 6 years of experience in designing and developing end-to-end distributed systems and microservices using Python/Django and GoLang/gRPC. He is currently working as a Senior Engineer - Product Development at Harman and has previously worked with Oracle and IBM. At Oracle, Umesh worked as a Senior Application Developer and was a part of the development team for Oracle Cloud Warehouse Management (OCWMS). He developed REST APIs, wrote optimized SQL queries, and designed and developed integrations between Oracle ERP system and OCWMS on Oracle integration cloud. He also provided on-call support to customers and coordinated with Product Management, QA team, and support team. At IBM, Umesh worked as a Software Engineer and was responsible for designing and developing automation tools using Python, developing web-based dashboards using Django, and full-stack web development. He also worked as a Performance Tester, where he checked the backend performance of iOS apps developed under Apple+IBM partnership and performed load testing using JMeter tool. Umesh holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) and completed his HSC in Science from Bal Vidhy Mandir Jr. College.
