Upanshu Singhal is a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Dell with over 28 years of experience in delivering software products from inception to delivery. He possesses a strong understanding of software business and enterprise customers. Upanshu has expertise in enterprise software architecture and design, application and virtualization data protection, storage array block and file server data protection, R&D prototyping, POC development, product feature development, team leadership, and mentoring team members. He also provides consultation to QA engineering and other engineering teams in the organization and publishes white papers and technical articles. Currently, Upanshu is a Product Architect in Data Protection for Storage Systems for NAS and Block data at Dell. He has expertise in Snapshot & Replication based data protection for Block & File Storage Servers and Converged storage. His primary roles include Product Architecture, Design, Feature development, Customer Engagement, Team building, and Mentorship. Prior to his current role, Upanshu worked as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Dell and a Principal Engineer at EMC, where he was the Lead Engineer on Data Protection for Microsoft Applications - Exchange & SQL Server. Upanshu received his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Priyadarshini College of Computer Science, Noida, in 1996. He also holds an Intermediate degree in Science from DAV Ghaziabad and completed his Primary schooling from Nirmala Convent, Bulandshahr.
