Upasana Kayal is a highly motivated and qualified industrial psychology specialist with a passion for understanding human behavior and its impact on the workplace. She is committed to a people-first approach to enable accelerated business outcomes and faces challenges head-on. Currently, she is working as a Human Resources Specialist at SuperShare, a company that aims to make the internet a multi-player experience. In her current role, she handles full life cycle recruitment, assists with process-oriented operations, handles employee engagement initiatives, and employer branding. Prior to joining SuperShare, Upasana worked at Onco.com, a health tech start-up, as an Associate Manager - HR Specialist. Here, she established recruiting requirements by studying the organization's roadmap, managed the complete employee life cycle from onboarding to exit, and ran bi-weekly employee pulse surveys and other feedback surveys. She also ideated and organized several employee engagement initiatives. Before Onco.com, she worked as an Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition at HumaQuest Consulting India Pvt Ltd, an executive search firm focused on leadership hiring in the healthcare space. Here, she actively participated in all the recruitment requirements, trained interns, and guided them during their tenure in the organization. She constantly overshot the goals set by the organization and got promoted twice in the span of 6 months. Upasana has a Master of Science degree in Applied Psychology with a Specialization in Organizational Development and Human Resource Management from the University of Calcutta, which she completed in 2019. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the same university, which she completed in 2017. She completed her ISC from G.D. Birla Centre for Education in 2012. Upasana is skilled in Frontend, Product Design, Designer, and Search. She has relevant experience of 3.70 years. Outside of work, she is working closely with an NGO helping the trans community in West Bengal to build livelihood opportunities.
