Upmanyu Shrivastava is a highly skilled software engineer with over 2 years of relevant experience in the technology industry. He is currently working as an SDE at Amazon, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining various software applications. Upmanyu has a strong educational background, having completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Purdue University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University, which is expected to be completed in May 2024. Prior to joining Amazon, Upmanyu worked as a Software Developer at GigVistas, where he was part of the core engineering team responsible for developing new workflows and features. He also implemented various UI elements in React w/ Material-UI along with supporting API endpoints in Java and Spring MVC. Before joining GigVistas, Upmanyu worked as an Intern at Sema4, where he redesigned and developed the process by which Genetic Counselors request tests using AWS Lambda and Python. He also set up notifications and logging features using AWS SNS and CloudWatch, which resulted in an 80% reduction in the processing time for tests.
