Urja Jain is an upcoming MITACS GRI'22 intern at the University of Calgary, Canada, and currently works as a Data Science Intern at glosity.club. With a passion for machine learning and ROS, Urja is a highly enthusiastic and energetic individual who is always eager to take on new opportunities. She is a philomath and a team player who loves to see sunsets from different amazing places in the world. At glosity.club, Urja is working on a career recommendation model using NLP and deep learning techniques. The goal is to help the student community have equal access to economic opportunities and find their tribe. In the past, Urja worked as an HR Manager at Uruvyacas Research and Technological Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and as an EWL intern at Ziroh Labs. At Ziroh Labs, she was part of the Earn While you Learn (EWL) program, where she worked on the implementation of Onedrive using Microsoft Graph API with Javascript. She created an Angular Application that made API Calls on Microsoft Graph API to perform Onedrive Operations such as Login(Authentication), Upload Files, Download Files, Rename Files, Display all Files and Folders, etc. Urja holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from KIIT University, where she is expected to graduate in 2023. She completed her Senior Secondary School education at O.P. Jindal School, where she achieved a 94% score in PCMB. She also attended Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School in India, where she earned a 93.6% score in her Secondary School education. Urja's technical skills include data science, research science, deep learning, NLP, ML, Javascript, Java, and AngularJS. With 0.27 years of relevant experience, Urja is a highly motivated individual who is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow.
