Urooj Fatma is a highly experienced HR and Management professional with over 19 years of hands-on, dynamic exposure to human resources management experience working in the fields of high technology, industrial manufacturing, ITES and real estate. Currently, she is the Head of Human Resources (Corporate & Plant HR) at Macawber Beekay Pvt Ltd. where she conceptualizes, plans, and implements Corporate & Plant strategic HR activities across multiple locations in India & foreign locations. She leads a Corporate HR Team, Plant HR (2 locations) along with Projects & O&M sites for various HR & Compliance activities. Her areas of expertise are in Corporate HR, Plant HR, recruitment and retention, compensation design and administration, benefits, HRIS, performance management, payroll & statutory compliances, and training & development. Urooj has been instrumental in the development of state-of-the-art policies and benefits that have enabled various organizations to retain valued workers, increase productivity, and improve employee morale. She is acknowledged as a recognized professional in the field of organization development and considered an expert on workplace issues. Her past experience includes working as Head of Human Resources and Manager-Human Resources at Sare Group, where she was responsible for recruitment, organizational development, talent engagement and motivation, training & development, compensation & benefits, performance incentive and bonus schemes, employee relations, grievance management, sales HR, and business HR. Urooj holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Human Resources & IT from Swami Vivekananda Subharti University, Meerut, and a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras. With relevant experience of 18.45 years, Urooj has proved her mettle time and again as an HR professional who can handle complex HR issues with ease. She is a strategic thinker who has a strong business acumen and can align HR strategies with business goals.
