Urvi Goel is a Software Engineer at Microsoft IDC, currently working on some exciting and critical problems on the Azure Core platform. She completed her B.Tech in Computer Science from IGDTUW in 2022, during which she successfully published a research paper in IEEE Xplore in the field of IOT. Urvi is driven by the contented feeling of making a difference and is passionate about working on projects that have an impact in the real world. One such project Urvi launched during college is Protégé - a mentorship platform which is still being used by the students of IGDTUW. Urvi co-founded this college society to help freshers gain one-on-one mentorship by accomplished seniors. To aid the program, an app has been launched in Google play store with 300 installs, which helps connect mentees with their mentors and find relevant resources. Urvi is also a mentor at Lean In @IGDTUW, where she mentored 50 first-year students in the Advanced Coding circle. She enjoys having mindful conversations with interesting people and is always looking to connect with new people. Urvi's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Research Science, and Azure. With 1.28 years of relevant experience, Urvi has proven to be a valuable asset to any team she is a part of.
