Urvi Nagrani is an EV expert with a focus on fleet solutions and developing emerging markets, products, and businesses. With a passion for entrepreneurship and changing the world, Urvi has been working with companies tackling huge problems, primarily in the EV infrastructure space with Volta Charging, PowerFlex, and eIQ Mobility. She got her EV start with 6+ years of working with Motiv Power Systems to bring zero-emission options to medium and heavy-duty trucks. Urvi is also interested in emerging technologies, ethics in technology, public policy, representation in media and business, and the intersection points between fields. She has a diverse set of skills that include business development, marketing, strategic planning, policy development, public speaking, grant writing, event management, facilitating meetings & discussions, project development, and implementation. She also has experience in political mentoring and developing leadership, building coalitions, campaign planning, organizing, canvassing, rallying, documenting events, and policy positioning. Additionally, she has skills in media such as still photography (film and digital), video production, logging footage, media management, designing materials, print design, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator, content curation, and asset management. Currently, Urvi is a Climatebase Fellow at Climatebase, a part-time climate career accelerator for top mission-driven talent in the climate solutions space. As part of a community of over 100 other talented peers, founders, investors, scientists, communicators, and researchers, she is focusing on topics ranging from food and agriculture to the circular economy and transportation electrification. Urvi's past experiences include working as a Business Development professional at Synop and as a Director of Fleet Solutions at Volta Charging. At both companies, she was a member of the Office of the CEO focused on special projects, working to lay the groundwork to drive growth in the fleet sector by developing value-based solutions that connect to the company's full business model, aimed at addressing a diverse set of partner needs. Urvi has a BA in Film & Media Studies from the University of California and an Associate of Art in History from Foothill College.
