Usama Khan is a highly experienced Product Strategy & Delivery Leader with over 11 years of diverse work experience in building, launching, and improving digital products, B2C/B2B & SaaS platforms, and enterprise applications. He is currently working at Zoom as a Lead Product Manager, building out the Events platform. Usama has a passion for entrepreneurship and has previously led product strategy, roadmap, and growth for an interactive live shopping platform, a virtual events platform, and a mental healthcare startup. Usama possesses excellent ideation/design thinking, product ownership/strategy/marketing, and agile project management skills. He has worked with small and large enterprises, providing boutique product management consultancy and has raised funds for and launched an EdTech startup. Usama has a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Technology & Social Change from Lund University and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Information & Communication Systems Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology. At Zoom, Usama has led the product team working on the collaboration and content sharing platform called Hub for the Zoom Events platform. He has managed the product strategy, design, and delivery of the roadmap initiatives and worked on launching the new licensing structure for the Zoom Events & Zoom Sessions. Usama has partnered with Sales and GTM teams to solicit customer feedback, resolve critical bugs, and address major concerns on behalf of the Product team. He has represented the Zoom Events team and worked cross-functionally to support internal events across Zoom. Usama has also worked as the Head of Product at Stage TEN, a live streaming & shopping platform with a focus on interactive engagement and live shopping tools. He has set up a product management & marketing culture, led Product Strategy and Roadmap, and diversified the product offering to support niche use-cases and develop new interactive engagement and monetization tools for content creators. Usama has also worked as a Senior Product Manager at Hopin, the leading and fastest-growing virtual events platform focusing on connecting people across the globe. He has led and managed various product teams and coordinated with customers, internal stakeholders, and broader GTM teams to make sure that the right product features get built, released, and communicated to all users and customers. Usama is looking for his next big challenge and is exploring a Product leadership role to solve complex problems through simple digital user experiences.
