Usman Rashid Khan is a Data Scientist Enthusiast and Petroleum Engineer Graduate who is currently working as a Data Science Analyst at Shell. With 1.85 years of relevant experience, he is dedicated to helping clients grow their business using data and solving problems using data. Usman is hardworking, super curious, passionate, committed, and a fast learner. He always wants to learn more, do more, and be more. He firmly believes that we should never settle and always strive for more. Prior to his current role, Usman worked as a Data Science Analyst at TheMathCompany where he worked with the KPI's team of the world's top revenue company (Retail) to assess performance. He analyzed customer groups to answer key business questions on behavioral change, evaluated client performance with its competitors leveraging third party provided transactional data, conducted statistical deep-dive analysis using SQL and PYTHON, and helped the client target around 15M emails to convert them to Primary Shoppers. He also automated and maintained data pipelines using SQL covering user experience on Online Grocery and Store Purchases and generated weekly or monthly updated tables for dashboard reporting and ad-hoc analysis. Usman also has experience as a Winter Intern at Sunreeja Oil and Gas Pvt Ltd where he completed projects on Well Control Methods, Downhole Completion Tool, and Liner Hanger System. Usman's education history includes a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Hyderabad. His tech stack includes Data Scientist, SQL, Research Scientist, and Python.
