Utkarsh Gandhi is a highly motivated and enthusiastic Computer Science graduate student with excellent logical thinking and algorithmic development skills. He is currently working as a Software Engineering Intern at mpiric software, where he has developed an E-commerce android app from scratch for buying Logo designs & Videos, including a chat feature with Admin, video download, cart management, and requirements. He has also developed RESTful APIs in PHP and designed the database from scratch for the same. Prior to this, Utkarsh has worked as a CS Outreach Student Instructor at the University of Texas at Dallas, where he gained valuable experience in teaching and mentoring students. He has also worked as a Software Development Intern at Mouser Electronics, where he managed an ELK Stack getting millions of logs per hour, created filters for parsing the logs, researched over scaling and configured Logstash, and created dashboards & visualizations from the log data using Kibana. He also wrote Python scripts to generate reports and interactive visuals for gaining a better track of projects from Cherwell software data. This led to a better understanding of how specific changes were impacting team & project performance. Additionally, he automated the API testing task performed by the QA team by implementing a CSV vs. JSON file comparator using Python. Utkarsh holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from Dharmsinh Desai University. He is flexible in adapting to new languages, tools, and environments and is interested in Software Development, Machine Learning, and Data Science. He has a strong tech stack that includes Software Engineering, ML, RabbitMQ, Java, MySQL, Kafka, and Spring. Overall, Utkarsh has relevant experience of 4.10 years and is a valuable addition to any team he works with.
