Utkarsh Gupta is a highly skilled Data Scientist II at Zee5. He has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. With a relevant experience of 3.78 years, Utkarsh has a proven track record of delivering successful projects in the field of data science. Before joining Zee5, Utkarsh worked as a Back End Developer at Octopus Energy where he successfully integrated a Payment Gateway for customers registering for Octopus Energy service into Kraken. He also collaborated with Energy Specialists consultants in Japan to develop demo applications for services to be integrated into Kraken. As a result, Utkarsh became one of the key collaborators with Octopus Energy from Tokyo Gas to accelerate the process of Beta version release of their service. As a Data Scientist at Tokyo Gas, Utkarsh worked on two major projects. The first project was the GL 24 Simulator Development where he designed and developed the simulator algorithm for the Emergency Department at Tokyo Gas using Python. He reduced the time of simulation from 1 month to 15 minutes and also developed a web application to work as a GUI for the Emergency Department to use. As a result, Utkarsh optimized the emergency car dispatch process and solved the problem of overwork and shortage of field staff. The second project that Utkarsh worked on was the Repair Parts Prediction where he built a large multi-class classification model to improve the advance prediction accuracy of a repair position and part by using machine learning. He improved the prediction accuracy by 10%, which improved the rate of one-time completion of repair and reduced the burden and work cost of a customer. Utkarsh is proficient in various technologies such as Keras, Python, Scikit, TensorFlow, Pandas, ML, Flask, AI, Spark, Web, and Django. He is a research scientist and has extensive experience in backend development. Utkarsh is a highly motivated and result-driven individual who is always ready to take on new challenges.
