Utkarsh Gupta is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 2.86 years of relevant experience in the field of AI and Search. He is currently working at JioSaavn as a Software Engineer, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining the DeepSearch microservice, which provides enhanced personalization and context recognition for over 165 million monthly active users and 40 million daily queries. He has also created Spark data pipelines for creating model training and validation data, TensorFlow training and evaluation pipelines, and end-to-end testing and deployment pipelines. Additionally, he has set up and maintained the infrastructure for the above, along with auto-scaling, and monitoring using Azure/Grafana Dashboards and daily reports. Apart from DeepSearch, Utkarsh has also created and maintained the Transliteration microservice for providing the JioSaavn application in various Indic languages. He has also set up a pipeline for automatically fetching and ingesting transliterations for all new documents. In his previous role at Circle of Life Healthcare, Utkarsh was responsible for the full-stack implementation of ML-powered applications for hospital administrators. He developed a web portal for personalized bill and length of stay estimation using Django and React, which was 25x faster than manual estimation methods. He also worked with the design team to formalize the UI/UX of current and upcoming products as well as Git flow. Utkarsh has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Production & Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in various technologies, including microservices, deep learning, Spark, TensorFlow, Azure, ML, UI, web, Django, JavaScript, iOS, frontend, backend, and Android.
